Gorgeous Door Creek Apple Orchard Elopement

Hey guys! I’m very pleased to be sharing a special elopement with you all today!

I met this lovely bride, Jennifer, through an online photography class we took. She was the first person outside of David that I trusted enough to second shoot a wedding for me. I’m very selective with who I work with because these days are very special to my clients and I make sure to create the best experience alongside delivering photos of moments that will be looked back on forever! To make sure we’d be a good fit, we met for coffee, and I was right, we hit it off! We ended up talking 25% about the wedding we were going to photograph and 75% about personal stuff. We connected on struggles from our past, school, friends and of course Justin, who was then her boyfriend (This was around 5 months ago). I was happy that I got a new friend along with someone I could trust to do a great job and make me laugh throughout the day.

When I saw her relationship status change on Facebook to !ENGAGED!, I got so excited for her because she talked about him (her squishy) so positively with a huge smile on her face which just made me melt. So, imagine my excitement when she asks me to photograph their wedding!!! They decided to elope with their parents at Door Creek Apple Orchard in Cottage Grove underneath a willow tree. When I finally got to meet Justin, I could tell why Jennifer talked so highly of him, he made us laugh the whole time, loves her to pieces, and they are great together.

All the smiles you will see in this gallery, are not forced. They are dorky, in love, and I’m obsessed. Stay tuned for their mini wedding video!

Thank you, Jennifer and Justin, it was an honor to witness and capture your wedding day.

Congratulations to Jennifer and Justin!!
