When I first met Bill and Jessica, I learned they are from Lombard which is the town I grew up in. I live in Madison Wisconsin now, so talking to them at their engagement shoot, even though they drove to Madison felt like a taste of home. And I know.. I know.. Madison is only a couple hours away from Lombard, BUT it is the little things like the sports teams, old town bars, and getting to play the  “Oh do you know..?” game until you find someone or some place you have in common.  They are a positive pair to be around. To give you an idea of what I mean by that, I didn’t see one of them bat an eyelash at the possibility of a huge thunderstorm before their ceremony. They knew were like “mmm, okay, we’ll figure it out” and kept on hanging out with their loved ones with huge smiles on their faces. They lived in the present moment and soaked up all the goodness around them. The love & friendship between the two is something we can all admire. I’m grateful to have met them and had a wonderful time capturing their wedding.
