Romantic Chic Wedding at The Loft 132 in Sun Prairie

I’ve been lucky enough to know Amanda and Justin for about a year now! From their inquiry, to their engagement photos – where Justin was convinced he was “bad” at taking photos, which we found out to be FALSE (good try Justin), to meeting Beau (their fluffy furbaby), pre-wedding coffee dates, where I got to learn more about their relationship, Amanda being a bridesmaid at Kelsey and Dave’s wedding (another one of my couples), to a family session with the Smet side where I got to know how hilarious and loving Amanda’s parents are. Finally, the wedding day where all the energy of planning came to life.

After the beautiful ceremony, the bridal party and I went to the capitol to take photos, and one of Amanda’s friends mentioned how crazy it was that Amanda was now a bride at the capital. They have lived here in Madison, Wisconsin for a while and have been bystanders watching Brides and Grooms celebrate taking photos at the capital, and now it was Amanda and Justin’s turn. We saw a few other wedding parties, but we were, without a doubt – the coolest bridal party and had the most awesome couple.

We were on our way back from Madison to Sun Prairie in the party bus, and I happen to live about a block from Loft 132, the venue where they celebrated. You can see my place from the roof! As we drove by my house, Amanda or Kelsey mentioned how we were going to be passing it, and told everyone to wave. Then someone mentioned Luna, my puppy and we waved to her. Made me miss her a little bit, but seriously cutest thing ever. Amanda, Justin, their family, and bridal party all treated me like a friend on their big day, and I can’t thank them enough!

At the reception, Chuck, the father of the bride, held the mic tight and choked back his tears while giving a speech at his daughter’s wedding. It’s evident how important Amanda is to her father and how grateful he is for this day, new family, and that his daughter found her husband, Justin. As he continues to speak it’s hard for anyone in the room to keep dry eyes. This day was a celebration of Amanda and Justin’s love, the merging of their families, and all the speeches given that night captured it perfectly. They are so loved. Speeches were followed by some of the best dancing I’ve ever seen at a wedding. It was a night to remember but I think I’ll have to go take some dance classes to catch up!

Thank you both for being kind, welcoming, and fun!
