David and I had the pleasure of meeting these two high school sweethearts a year before their wedding at their Oak Hill engagement session. Our first impression of them was how kind and easy they were to work with. They are so at ease and relaxed with each other and that same energy flowed throughout their wedding day.
They had an intimate ceremony at Oak Hill Farm in Galena Illinois and then a celebration at an Airbnb with their closest friends and family.
It felt just like visiting an old friends house. There was the grandness of the day in that it was their wedding but also familiarity with how comfortable and relaxed the gathering was.
They sealed the night up with celebratory cigars and a bonfire.
